Role Overview

As a Data Platform Quality Engineer, you are a key contributor in our data platform team, tasked with the responsibility to ensure the highest standards of quality for our developed solutions. You will perform continuous testing, both manual and automated, and engage in quality engineering tasks to enhance the functionality and reliability of our products.

Job Description

In this specialist role, you will collaborate closely with development team members, other quality engineers, project managers, product managers, and architects. Your focus will be on designing, implementing, and executing test cases according to our defined processes and objectives. Additionally, you will take a leadership role by supporting team members, setting an example in best practices, and leading initiatives to refine test plans, identify defects, and report on the quality status of projects.

Qualification

• BE, BTech, MTech or MCA

Skills And Requirement

• Deep understanding of quality engineering, test case design, test automation, and documentation. Familiarity with test management tools like Jira and Xray. Comfortable with agile methodologies (eg. SCRUM).
• Efficient use of AWS or other cloud environments for testing purposes. Proven ability to conduct gap analysis and requirement analysis.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to quality, with experience in root cause and leakage analysis methods.
• Strong capability to communicate in diverse, global environments. You should have the courage to raise concerns and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members and contribute towards team goals.
