Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet the required standards of quality and performance. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with a basic understanding of software testing who are eager to start their careers in quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand application functionality and design tests accordingly.
• Execute manual test cases to identify bugs, defects, and issues within software applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and usability testing on various platforms and devices.
• Document and report bugs and issues in a clear and concise manner using bug tracking tools.
• Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and testing processes.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of QA documentation, including test plans and user guides.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other team meetings to provide QA input.
• Provide feedback on improving the testing process and overall software quality.
• Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your testing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
