About the Role
- Ads is a relatively new high growth business for Uber.
- The team’scharter includes impactful projects to grow the Advertiser base.
- The engineer will work with other backend and front end engineers to build and maintain new features which will improve the experience of Eaters and Merchants.
- This is high impact role in the Ads space.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Work with Product Managers/ Design/Ops to understand Requirements
- You will design, code, test, and launch backend services, data pipelines and BE features.
- Own important components in the Ad Tech system E2E.
- Identify and deliver efficiencies for services and processes
Soft Skills:
- Collaborate with other members of the team/cross team to ship projects fast and with quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: like design, product and ops
Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in one or more object-oriented programming languages: Java, GoLang, C++.
- Experience working with Streaming Data Pipelines and backend services.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Design and business acumen: You understand requirements, whether you’re working on an API used by other developers, an internal tool consumed by our operation teams, or a feature used by millions of customers, your attention to details leads to a delightful user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bonus points for Full stack experience.
