Job Description
As a Quality Analyst Trainee, you will be part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, design test cases, and help deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and understanding software requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, create, and execute test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting of test results.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Learn and adapt to new testing tools, techniques, and technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques (automation skills are a plus).
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
