Your Impact:
- Conduct analysis of customer product requirements to ensure a thorough understanding of their needs.
- Work in collaboration with customers to specify the application and design automotive applications that meet their needs.
- Utilize Java to design, develop, and implement software applications that are both high-quality and meet customer requirements.
- Work with development teams to develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Review and investigate issues in code developed by peers to ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain clear communication channels with customers and other Cerence A teams through regular reporting, meeting participation, and follow-up.
- Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations based on project experience, as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
What You Bring:
- Hands-on experience in software development as a full-stack Java developer with a solid understanding of modern development processes/tools and the complete software development life cycle
- Strong knowledge and experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST, as well as SQL, MYSQL, and good database concepts
- Experience and knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices with expertise in source control tools like Git and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins
- Experience working in/knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Strong data structures and algorithms skills with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Demonstrated ability to master new technologies and tools quickly with strong object-oriented analysis, design, and coding skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken with excellent team player skills and a customer-focused approach
- An understanding of information and application cybersecurity standards (secure coding, securing SDLC’s, etc.)
