Role Overview
The Quality Assurance Engineer specializes in low-code development, they will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our low-code applications. They collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify and address any issues during the software development life cycle. Their attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and understanding of low-code platforms will contribute to the success of our products.
Job Description
- Work with a team of developers through the design and delivery of Intelligent Automation solutions to the business
- Develop comprehensive test plans for low-code applications, considering both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and report issues to the development team.
- Verify fixes and ensure proper regression testing.
- Become familiar with the specific low-code platform(s) used within our organization.
- Test low-code components, workflows, and integrations to validate functionality, performance, and security.
- Work closely with developers to understand low-code application requirements and design.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies.
- Document test results, defects, and test coverage.
- Provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on low-code industry trends and best practices.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Education & Qualification Requirements
- Minimum BS degree in computer science or technology-related fields
- Proven attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
- Consider pursuing the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate certification.
- Certification in one or multiple RPA and/or other emerging automation/ cognitive technologies a plus.
- Experience in M365 applications
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies: Power Apps, Power Automate
- Experience on Integrations with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions
- Experience on using various connectors in Power Platform.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, tools, and approaches.
- Familiarity with scripting and SQL for testing purposes.
- Understanding of low-code development principles and platforms.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
