About the Role
- The scope of the programme is to deliver a best-in-class Client On-boarding experience by applying latest user friendly cost effective technology.
- The application envisages to be the single point of access for the Client being on-boarded to GBM and CMB products.
- This program will deliver both Existing to Bank and New to Bank journeys for Wholesale.
- We’re seeking a motivated and driven Accessibility tester who is passionate about ensuring web and mobile applications are accessible to all users.
- As an Accessibility tester, you’ll work alongside experienced Quality Assurance Analysts, Developers, and Accessibility Professionals to uphold accessibility standards, test webpages, software applications, and mobile apps, and provide recommendations to improve accessibility.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure websites and mobile applications are compliant with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Use assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA, Talkback, Voiceover, and Narrator to perform manual testing.
- Develop test plans and cases to track accessibility testing progress.
- Work with developers and designers to identify and remediate accessibility issues.
- Conduct user research to gather feedback on accessibility.
- Stay up to date with accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- Report accessibility testing findings and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in creating and implementing accessibility training programs.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and expertise in screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, Talkback, Voiceover, Narrator)
- Experience with assistive technology testing in both desktop and mobile environments.
- Ability to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of accessibility testing, including manual testing, automated testing, and usability testing.
- In-depth knowledge of ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) and how to implement it properly to make web content more accessible.
- Familiarity and understanding of screen magnifiers, colour contrast analyser tools, and speech recognition software.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Basic understanding of software development and design principles
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- At least one accessibility certification (e.g., CPACC, Section 508, equivalent)
