Description
The ideal candidate should have between 1-2 years of experience working with responsive UI, monitoring errors in the system, discussing them with the developers and provide help in reproducing the bug.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
- Participate in cross-browser testing, focusing on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
- Execute the test systematically, outlining detailed steps to reproduce and expected outcomes
- Adapt quickly to changes in project requirements
- Should be able to perform testing across multiple screens/resolutions
- Analyze root causes of defects and contribute to effective resolution strategies.
Requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements and specifications
- Ensure comprehensive testing covers all aspects of the application, including functionality, usability, and performance testing
- Execute thorough testing, document test results for developers to review, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
- Perform regression testing to confirm that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new changes do not introduce additional defects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must in this role, as they are key to successful testing and project delivery
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn automation testing concepts and the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies swiftly; the role is dynamic and requires continuous learning
- Previous experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus but optional.
