Job Description
- Develop and execute End-to-End (E2E) test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures for both web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand product changes, provide early feedback, and develop comprehensive testing strategies.
- Knowledge of automation concepts, scripting, and familiarity with JavaScript are preferred.
- Identify, log, and track bugs to resolution while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Perform testing on software, apps, and web applications to ensure consistent performance across different platforms and devices.
- Participate in agile development processes in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including sprint planning, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure an understanding of product vision and to promote effective testing strategies.
- Stay updated on new testing tools and test strategies, continuously improving testing methodologies.
- Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate the robustness and functionality of products.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a successful track record in validating and launching web and mobile applications.
- Experience with manual testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
