Job Role
You will be building software for massive scalability in a customizable, multi-tenant architecture that drives a high volume web UI while providing fault tolerance and redundancy.
Job Description
- Write and maintain code for a java application
- Work both independently and also pairing with other developers.
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews (both as reviewer and reviewee).
- Collaborate within frontend, backend and data layer teams to determine solutions & break down work from high level requirements into actionable tasks.
Requirement
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Solid commercial/enterprise-level software development experience
- Strong Test-driven development
- Passion for well-architected code and a willingness to work with and mentor others
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with a geographically distributed team
Required Skills
- High proficiency in performance-oriented Java
- Linux/Tomcat/Apache
- Familiarity with Soap APIs
Additional Skills
- Gradle
- GIT
- Jenkins CI / GitHub Actions
- JUnit, Cucumber
- Groovy
- Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe experience
- Amazon Web Services: Developer (Associate), Solutions Architect (associate), or DevOps Engineer (Professional) certificate-holders a plus
