Overview
The QA area is responsible for the testing of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet goals of TNS’ products.
Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of Test writing, execution, and test reporting.
- Knowledge of Unix fundamentals, scripting and installation and upgrade of software
- Clear understanding of OOP concepts and best practices
- Ability to understand software architecture and design-spec.
- Must have basic knowledge of Linux operating system
- Knowledge of database and PL SQL will be a plus!
- Knowledge on one or more of testing tools like Selenium/ LoadRunner/Jira/Soap UI etc.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages -Java/Python is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team – carrying out own part and helping to pull and achieve as a team.
- Excellent communication skills and team skills
- Ability to communicate well within team.
- Good command of verbal and written English
