Job Overview
As a Tester, you will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. This is a full-time position based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. We are looking for candidates with less than 1 year of experience in testing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with agile development cycles and continuous integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct software testing to identify bugs and ensure the functionality of applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create test cases.
- Execute test cases and document test results, identifying and reporting any issues or defects.
- Participate in regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of software.
- Work closely with the product team to provide feedback on usability and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to improve testing processes.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of software quality by suggesting process enhancements and best practices.
