Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Analyst to understand the requirements and provide testing efforts.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using Automation tools
- Perform API Testing (XML knowledge Preferred), functional testing and regression testing to identify and document software defects.
- Report and track defects using designated bug tracking tools, ensuring thorough documentation of issues.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the Agile development process.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Basic Knowledge of API testing – XML and JSON knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of Tools like SOAPUI Preferred
- Good Scripting/coding knowledge and enthusiasm in learning Automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Good Analytical skills to understand the root cause of problems and think critically about testing strategies.
