Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of mobile applications across different platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Ensure applications meet customer requirements and are delivered bug-free.
- Provide regular feedback and reports on testing progress and quality assurance status.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 months of experience in mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of mobile platforms, device configurations, and operating systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to report bugs and collaborate with the team effectively.
